Christian Sheehan - PGA
Chris arrived at Pelican's Nest Golf Club in 2010, with an impressive resume and outstanding pedigree for golf operations and instruction. Previously, Chris was Head Golf Professional at Gateway Golf & Country Club, Fort Myers, Florida, from 2006 - 2010 and Director of Golf at Tuscany Reserve Golf Club, Naples, Florida from 2004 - 2006.
Prior to moving to Southwest Florida with his wife Liz and son Harlan, he apprenticed at three world-class facilities along side some of the finest Club Professionals and Instructors in the world.
Chris spent five seasons at Golf Digest
Top 100 Golf Courses
Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York and Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio. Chris spent six seasons alongside Golf Digest
Top 100 Instructors
Bill Harmon, Craig Harmon, and Todd Sones.
Aside from his private lessons, clinics, and golf schools, Chris is also an excellent event manager and merchandiser, having been selected among his peers as the 2009 Merchandiser of the Year - Private Facilities for the Southwest Florida Chapter of the PGA. Chris captained the varsity baseball and hockey teams at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and was an All - Region selection in baseball and All American nominee in both.
A fine golfer in his own right, Chris captured the 2003 Western New York PGA Section Assistant Professional Championship and finished T38th at the Taylor Made/Adidas National Assistant Professional Championship the same year.
